We live right next to this park...literally NEXT to it. So close, in fact, that it is an everyday occurrence to have geese/ducks/turtles crossing our street. There are multiple ponds, picnic tables sprinkled throughout & a running track with "exercise stations".
Now that it is summer, we spend alot of time here. My kids love feeding the birds/squirrels, walking the trails & packing up lunches to eat under the shade of the trees. And, although it has been a tough transition from our big house in the South to this small 2-bedroom apartment, I am thankful for the close proximity to this beautiful setting.
